• ULTRABOOST 21 is the 2021 generation of the Ultraboost, in which adidas went for not only cushioning but also stiffness in the forefoot. The main innovation is the LEP (Linear Energy Push) element in the midsole: it deliberately limits forefoot bending, making the toe-off more responsive. The BOOST midsole returns energy with every step, while the seamless Primeknit upper hugs the foot like a sock. The Continental Rubber outsole with its flexible StretchWeb construction grips on wet asphalt and lasts longer.
