How to choose the right size

Different brands use different lasts, so the same EU size can vary by a few millimetres between them. Measuring your foot takes two minutes and usually saves a return.

Measuring your foot in 3 steps

1. Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against the wall. Measure in the evening — feet are slightly larger at the end of the day.
2. Mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance from the wall in centimetres.
3. Add 0.5–1 cm of room. If your feet differ, go by the larger one.

What to keep in mind

Running and hiking models usually need more toe room than casual sneakers. Suede and leather adapt to the foot over time; textile uppers barely do. Each product page notes size specifics when a model runs differently.

You will find the size chart for a specific model on its product page. Most popular brands: New Balance, Asics, Vans, Birkenstock and Dr. Martens.
